Getting started
Get the app by going to the App Store on your iPhone. Then search for and download Eventbrite, which has this logo:
![]()
Discover cool events, then buy tickets or register
To find events to attend, open the app and tap the Discover button at the bottom of the screen.

If you don't find the event that you'd like to attend on the home page, tap the search icon on the top right and enter a keyword or event name, and location, to narrow down your search results.

You can also tap Browse by category to find events that you'd like to attend.

Note: To see the events nearest you, you'll want to enable location services on your phone's settings. You'll notice a message appear on the app if this setting is turned off on your phone.

On the Search Results screen, tap any event that interests you to get more info and/or to get tickets or register. You can also tap the filter icon in the upper right to filter your results by price or category, or sort by relevance or distance.

When viewing the Event Details for a particular event, tap Get Tickets/Register to view ticket and registration info and/or place your order or register. Your order will be handled safely and securely, and you'll receive an order confirmation email after your order or registration is complete.

Note: Some events may open in the browser window (we're working on this!) where you can complete your order and return to the app afterwards.
View purchased tickets and event info
To view your existing orders and registrations, open the app, tap My Tickets at the bottom of the screen, and enter the email address that you used to buy your tickets on Eventbrite. Then tap Continue.
If you did create a password when you bought your ticket(s) online--or if you already have a password for your Eventbrite account--go ahead and log in!
If you didn't create a password when you bought your ticket(s) online, we'll automatically send an email to the email address you used to buy your ticket(s). Check your email! From this email, you can set a password and log in to your account. Don't worry if you can't find the email. You can also tap I forgot my password! so that we may send you an new email to reset your password. Once you reset your password, you can use it to log in to the app.

Display scannable barcodes for easy check-in
Once you're logged in, tap on the name of your event to see the details of that event and your ticket barcodes. (You can choose between Upcoming Events and Past Events, depending on how many events you've registered for on Eventbrite with this email address.)

You'll see the date and time of the event, as well as the address and map for the venue, if the event organiser has chosen to include one or both. Tap the map to open it in Google Maps!
For even more information about the event, tap View Event Page.

Tip: Do you have any questions about the event itself (e.g., regarding any ID requirements or a refund policy)? Simply tap Contact Organiser to send the organiser an email directly with your question(s)!
Tap View Ticket/View Registration to display the barcode for your ticket(s) that the organiser can scan or use to check you in at the door of the event. (If you've ordered multiple tickets, simply swipe sideways to display the barcode for each.) Tap More Ticket Information to see any questions you answered when you registered.

Note: For multiple-ticket orders, all tickets' information and barcodes will show in the ticket buyer's account. When the ticket buyer is logged in to their account and viewing the ticket barcodes, they can swipe from side to side to access each of the barcodes in the order. Tap the arrow icon in the upper right when viewing a ticket barcode to email that particular ticket to someone. The recipient will get an email with an image of the barcode attached that they can display on their phone or print out for scanning.
Troubleshoot why your tickets aren't showing up in the app
Make sure that you're logged in to the app with the same email you entered when purchasing the tickets. To check if you're logged in with the correct email, tap My Tickets at bottom of the app and then tap the gear-shaped icon found in the top left corner. Scroll down until you see the email listed under the Log out subheading.
There might have been a typo when the email address was entered during purchase. First, check your email to see if you received an order confirmation email from Eventbrite. You should've received this email after registering for the event. If you can't locate the email and think there was a typo in the email address entered, contact the organiser so that they can update your email address and resend you your order confirmation. You can reach the organiser by going to the event page and clicking on the Contact the Organiser button found on the right side of the page.
If you purchased your tickets from a computer using the Eventbrite site and not the app on your mobile device, you'll want to refresh the My Tickets page within the Eventbrite app in order to see your newly purchased ticket(s). To reload the page, use your finger to swipe down the My Tickets screen.
If these tickets were purchased as a gift, you'll want to make sure the order is updated with the attendee's email so that they can view the tickets when they log in to the app. This article can help guide you in editing information on the order.
If you paid for the tickets through PayPal, there may be a lag between completing payment processing and Eventbrite emailing your order confirmation. Please allow some time for the ticket to appear in the app.
Share events by email, text message, and social media
Events are more fun if your friends come too! Tap the arrow icon in the upper right to access your sharing options.
Check out events that your friends are going to! You'll receive push notifications about events, if at least two of your Facebook friends are going. To check out the event, simply tap the notification to be taken to the event's details.

Update settings within the app or log out
To access Settings, tap My Tickets and then tap the gear-shaped icon in the top left corner. On this screen, you can join the Eventbrite community via Facebook or Twitter, or rate us in the App Store. You can also access our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, or log out.
